Vegetarian Treat at Corner Tree Cafe

After my daughter’s workshop in Makati, we got hungry so we decided to look for a restaurant to dine in. My Trip Advisor app came very handy in giving us the nearest restaurants, including the rating of the customers who went there. Since it was my husband’s post birthday treat, I asked him if he’d like to try a vegetarian restaurant. At first, he was hesitant, thinking there was nothing for him to eat since he’s not a vegetarian. Well, neither am I. The good thing about Corner Tree Cafe, the vegetarian restaurant I chose, is that you wouldn’t mind eating there because their dishes makes you feel good that you’d forget you didn’t have any meat.

On going there, we relied on Waze app to take us there. However, it couldn’t directly point us the location of Corner Tree Cafe. It took us to Jupiter street, then we’re on our own. We missed it and had to go back. My suggestion is to drive a little slowly while traversing Jupiter street. It’s at the corner of Jupiter and Saturn street. The big tree is the give away. “Ah! That’s why it’s called Corner Tree Cafe!” Yes, that’s what I said when we finally got there. The restaurant is really at the corner of a tree. If you’re like me who is always lost with directions, you can always check their map ahead to get there easier.

It is better to call for reservations because the place can get easily packed specially at dinner time. We didn’t make reservations but we we’re lucky to be accommodated because the table we used isn’t reserved until 6pm (we were there 5pm).

You can customize your food option:

  • V- VEGAN (no eggs, no diary)
  • VO- VEGAN OPTION (if preferred, you can ask the server to remove eggs/dairy)
  • GF- GLUTTEN FREE

They have STARTERS, SALADS (uses organic vegetables), MAIN COURSES, SANDWICHES, PINOY DISHES, SOUPS, and DESSERTS.

When we finished eating, we were so full even after 4 hours! That’s the beauty of eating healthy, our body gets to enjoy all the nutrients enough to keep us full.

I’m not turning Vegan but I appreciate this kind of food too. So if you want to try out something new, check out Corner Tree Cafe!
